Even with books sold, Henry's writing hand didn't get a rest. Between photos, festival programs, original scripts from The High Chaparral and anything else fans wanted him to sign, he was a busy guy! Speaking of books and authors, the delightful lady with Henry is actress/author Kathy Garver. 

You probably remember her as "Cissy" in the classic series "Family Affair."

Henry Darrow still attracts the ladies like bees to honey and was pleasantly surprised when actress Nancy Stafford ("Matlock") said she had a crush on him for 40 years.

Lovely Pamelyn Ferdin was a popular child actress in the 60s and 70s, guest-starring twice on Henry's series The High Chaparral. She later voiced "Lucy" on the Charlie Brown specials.

When the meeting and greeting and signing was done, we discovered great food in Winston-Salem, happily cleaning our plates at homey DiLisio's Italian Restaurant and The Tavern in Old Salem (upscale casual, pictured below).
